The designs fit in Berings range of 15m-24m (50'-80') Steel Oceangoing Motoryachts. Both vessels have the serious cruising yachtsman in mind, and are inherently economic to operate with either conventional or hybrid propulsion options. Australian Industrial Designer Scott Blee says SABDES has now been involved with four client projects in the under 24metre yacht sector, and is looking forward to more future involvements alongside pursuing with their more familiar Superyacht size projects. The Bering design involvement allows SABDES an engineered platform to creatively seek out a modern and minimal styling approach for in this case a 21m Explorer Yacht and a 15m Raised Pilothouse Motoryacht. As well, the two companies share similar values in reducing the useage of fossil fuels and protecting the environment with Bering Yachts offering the option for Hybrid Propulsion using the ReGen Nautic electric hybrid system; this system provides the power needed at sea, and allows ability to enter and leave ports in electric-only mode.
The 21.0m is a tri-deck Explorer and would be one of the most voluminous yachts of her size around owing her 7.0m beam. The 15.0m Motoryacht with nearly 5.0m beam over two decks has the feature of port and starboard engine rooms allowing a passageway to transit between the fwd and aft cabins. Bering like to keep in mind that their yachts should feel spacious and have ease to walk around.

Each design is based upon a fully engineered steel construction design with in-house Naval Architecture. Their customised Interior Arrangements offer vast accomodations and Berings semi-custom approach allows the yacht not to be fully designed in order to meet any owners preferences in regard to layout or equipping. Bering have a rigorous construction approach meaning these motoryachts are real little ships built to go places safely, surely and in style.

SABDES and Bering are also working together on a new 24metre Explorer Yacht. Bering currently have two boats from their range currently being built in China.
